After Versailles, we continued to Normandy. On the way, we visited Monet's House (in Giverny). We could only see the garden, though. His garden is beautiful, there are all kinds of flowers.

From Cologne, we went to Paris. We passed through Belgium, and we stopped to eat French fries. Belgium is famous for its delicious French fries. It took a very long time to get to Paris from Belgium. We stayed in Paris 8 days long. In Paris, we stayed at our friends' house. They have two cute little babies :)

In Paris, we always travelled with the metro. We went to the Eiffel Tower, Disneyland, Louvre, Notre Dame and Versailles. Paris is really beautiful.

Disneyland:

As we were waiting in the line under the Eiffel Tower, the police came and told everybody to go away from the Eiffel Tower. We were very surprised. We looked up and saw people who were climbing on the Eiffel Tower. We thought that some one was going to commit suicide. But then the people hung a flag, it was Greenpeace!

We stayed in Cologne just about 3 hours. The Cologne Cathedral is very big and beautiful. The city is very crowded and there are many crazy people who walk or even dance on the streets. There were many alcoholics, too. It was funny to watch them. There were also many Turkish people. Many people were sitting in front of the Cathedral and doing something.

After Venice, we went to Germany, through Austria. It took 6-7 hours from Venice to Bavaria. There, we stayed in a cute, small village near Traunstein in our friends' house (David and Elisabeth Lemoigne).

The house:

The next day, we rented a car in Freilassing, Bavaria. We had planned to go to Prague from there. But while renting the car, we learnt that rent-a-cars mustn't go to East Europe. So, we couldn't go to Prague. Instead, we decided to go to Dresden. Dresden is a beautiful and historical city in east Germany. The river Elbe flows through it, and there are many beautiful architectures in it.

I ate spaghetti ice there (It just looks like spaghetti) :)

After staying two days in Dresden, we went to Cologne. We met our friends (The Lemoignes) there and with their car we continued to Paris, crossing Belgium. And we had a stop to eat delicious french fries in Belgium.
