The boat trip took 24 hours. It was so boring, and there was nothing to do in the ship. It was such a boring ship! You couldn't see anything outside, only a boring see. It was cold inside, and outside, it was very hot. I didn't no where to go. The rooms were really tiny. They were very expensive, though. Because of that many people slept outside or in the corridors-that was weird. But when I saw Venice from the ship in the morning, I thought it was worth that bad boat trip. Venice is really beautiful. But unfortunately, the time wasn't enough to see much of Venice. I want to go to Venice again someday.

On the way to Igoumenitsa we stopped at a cute city called Metsovo. There were nice little shops.

I really liked this little town.

Traditional Bakery:

We stayed one day in Igoumenitsa, and in the morning - at 5'o'clock - we went to the harbour to find the the ship to Venice.

We waited a loooong time for the ship to arrive :)

If you've read my post well enough, you'll know which city is next :)

After Thesseloniki, we went to Meteora. Meteora is a gorgeous city; there are sandstone rock pillars all over the city. I had never been in such a different place before.

The monasteries are built on natural sandstone rock pillars, at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Peneios River and Pindus Mountains, in central Greece.

The monastery of Holy Trinity was a filming location in the 1981 James Bond movie "For Your Eyes Only."
