In the beginning of the trip, we went to Greece. I liked it there, though it was very hot (over 35 degrees.)

The first place we went in Greece was Kavala, we ate fish there. And after that we went to a hotel in Asprovalta.

After staying in Asprovalta, we continued to Thessaloniki. There we wanted to see the house where Atatürk was born, but we couldn't go in, because it is closed 0n weekends.

In this blog, you will find photos which were taken during our summer holidays 2008, in some European countries. I and my family traveled for one month, visiting 7 different countries. We went to Greece from Turkey by car, and stayed there for 3 days. Then we went to Venice, Italy, by ferry. After a one-day-trip in Venice we moved on to Germany, crossing Austria. In Germany we went to cities like Dresden, Dessau and Cologne. Passing Belgium, we went to Paris (by car again.) In Paris we stayed 9 days long at friends. After Paris, we traveled along almost the entire French coast, starting from the Normandie and, after the Mediterranean sea, ending in Strasbourg.
